about

This project was imagined by Tone Glady on Yellow Cake Radio back in early 2012. It was to include Lonnie Liston Smith sample loops with One Track Rap Recordings. Taste Nate was able to bring this to life but the universe has a way making it's own time frame. Last year Taste Nate decided to bring this project off the shelf and bring some of his esteemed poet colleagues on board to help complete this venture. The theme while loosely attributing the accounts of Boxer Sonny Liston, is about what happens to you after you have fallen from your peak and how the world often will look to honor the next Champion while forsaking a legend.
